I've used .Net3.0 State Machine and I think it is great when building client interactive application (Wizards for example).

Does this version also supports nested states ?

And of course do you have a planning for the final release ?

Yes, this version supports nested state. We have plan to release new version as per user's feedback.

I would highly recommend you read the user guide of this state machine. It contains a lot of information about the feature of this state machine, how to use it and a detailed comparison to state machine in WF 3.0.
