Is it possible to

- persist a state machine workflow with Active state "State1" when waiting for input

- on recieving input load the persisted state machine workflow with Active state as "State1"

- make input based transition from "State1"

?

Yes, you can. You can put Recevie acitivty as an trigger of state1. You can unload the workflow after Receive activity is scheduled. When the message is coming, the workflow will be activiated and run.

Is it possible to make it in any state? By example, could I plase a "Persist" activity in the entry of any state?

Yes, you can if you didn't introduce any arguments/variables which are not peristable.
